VICTORIAN DAY AT ST. GEORGE INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL AND PRESCHOOL

12.11.2018

On 12.11.2018 the 2 Graders finally got to experience a real-life Victorian classroom as well as to get near to olden days thanks to the project of Miss Hunter and Miss Feeney. The girls and boys sat separately in rows and everyone had to write with chalk on their very own slate. Short lessons of Handwriting, Religion and Arithmetic took place. We even had a visit from the Head of stage 3-4 grades, Mr. Furniss, in the role of a hardline Principal from the Victorian Era. As might be expected we also had time for entertainment as playing hopscotch.

We would like to say a massive thank-you to the parents for helping your child create a fabulous costume. The children looked amazing today, but most of all they were inspired as well as enjoyed truly while learning about that era.
