PROCEDURE FOR INDIVIDUAL CARE

Rationale

In the event of extraordinary circumstances delaying the departure of the student from the school building after the completion of the classes (after 15.30 in case no additional activities are requested) and/or after completion of the requested extracurricular activities or participation in clubs of interest (after 17.30) on official school days, in the time range from 17.30 to 19.30, according to Art. 2.9. from the contract with Wonder Group AD and Art. 3.5.5. and Art. 3.9.3. from the General Terms to the contract with Wonder Group AD, the service “Individual Care” is provided. The service is used upon written request from the parent/guardian and under the conditions set forth in this procedure, and in any case the company reserves the right to refuse the service. In case the student stays in the school without a prior written request, the parents/guardians owe a fee for the service “Individual care”. The time of stay is established in a protocol, signed by a representative of St. George International School&Preschool EOOD/ Wonder Group AD/ authorized person and a parent/ guardian/ authorized person.

Cost of the service: BGN 23.47 (for each hour started) incl. VAT.

This procedure aims to ensure that any late stay of children in the St. George International School&Preschool facilities is:

Procedure

A. Submitting a written request for the use of the “Individual Care” service: if a student leaves the School on school days after 15.30 h and the student is not enrolled in extracurricular activities/clubs of interest or after 17.30 h, the parent/guardian must submit a request (Annex 1) to use the “Individual Care” service to the Reception Desk (reception@stgeorgeschool.eu), at least 3 days prior to the use of the service (exceptions to the rule can be admitted in emergencies, but the information must be submitted and these steps must be followed).

B. The requests are collected in the “Individual Care” register.

C. In case of incoming requests for the relevant day, protocols are prepared for signature by the parent/ guardian/ authorized person at the time of collecting the child.

D. Reception informs the Manager extracurricular activities who ensures the presence of an employee/s responsible for the safety of the child/children using the “Individual Care” service after 15.45 h and between 17.30 and 19.30 h.

E. The children using the “Individual Care” service are accommodated in an assigned for this purpose room, where they remain under constant observation by an employee of St. George International School&Preschool EOOD/ Wonder Group AD/ authorised person.

F. Signing a protocol for using the “Individual Care” service (Appendix 2) when the child is handed over by the responsible person to a parent/ guardian/ authorized person.

G. The protocols for using the service are collected in the “Individual Care” register. At the beginning of the next day, copies of the same should be sent to e-mail: accounting@stgeorgeschool.eu in order an invoice to be prepared.

H. The Financial Department issues an invoice at the end of the month on the basis of the information collected from the period and sends the invoice to the parents. According to Art. 2.9. of the contract with Wonder Group AD, the fee is BGN 23.47 incl. VAT for each hour started.

I. According to Art. 3.9.3. from the General Terms to the contract with Wonder Group AD the fee for the “Individual Care” service is paid by the 10th of the month following the month in which the service was used.

J. The deadline for the “Individual Care” service is 19.30 h. In case of delay after this hour, the responsible person informs the police authorities. If the parent/ guardian/ authorized person does not collect the child until 19.30 h, the responsible person shall notify the police, and then hand over the child to a member of the local police department who takes over the responsibility for the child and starts the procedures provided by the law for such cases.

Failure to follow the procedure

Child protection, safety and well-being of the children are of the highest priority to St. George International School&Preschool. Failure to follow the above procedure will result in disciplinary measures for the staff responsible and on behalf of the parents/ guardians in legal measures in accordance with the Bulgarian law.
