World Scholar’s Cup 2019 – New York

Today, children are in a New State of Mind, visiting New York - the most linguistically diverse city in the world with over 800 languages spoken. As culturally welcoming as this might be, the weather there took up a polar position, or simply put – it was freezing cold. Despite the chill factor, our champions wrapped up warmly for a fascinating exploration around the Big Apple. A great chunk of their journey was Manhattan, where they called in at Times Square and the Washington Square Arch. Another immense sight was the colossal Statue of Liberty, the crown of which required a strenuous climb of 20 floors, equaling 354 steps. The group was also ravished by the beautiful panorama of the city from afar. Remaining patient and curious for the great Awards ahead…
