Design & Technology Class: Drilling with Grade 6A
Regardless how young, anyone should know their way around a toolbox and be a basic handyman, in order to take care of elementary fixes amongst personal possessions or at home. That is why six grade got acquainted with the drill! After a lecture on various joining processes like welding and soldering, students gave an individual go at un/screwing both electrically (by drilling) and manually (with a screwdriver). Mr. Kris’s objective was to let children feel their hand taking control whilst simultaneously becoming one with the tool, but also to demonstrate the importance of such machinery for the an assembly accomplishment of any kind.
