Yoga for children provides for calm and balanced mind, healthy, energetic and flexible bodies, and responsibility and discipline toward themselves and toward others. It features entertaining exercises and breathing practices, where the emphasis is placed on the poses’ preciseness and details and the importance of deep and regular breathing. The children develop self-esteem, strength, attention focus and concentration. Yoga strengthens the physical health, the muscle activity, flexibility and coordination, facilitates self-awareness, the ability to express their emotions, be confident and explore their feelings.
