Our students from 5th grade participated in the Tech4Kids International Festival, the first-ever large-scale forum for children with interests in the technology world
On October 17, 2017, our students from 5th grade participated in the Tech4Kids International Festival, the first-ever large-scale forum for children with interests in the technology world.
The purpose of the visit was to enable students to access programming lessons and develop their interest in the IT course in an interactive way.
The event was opened with the presentation of the projects of Ivan Baroff- Vth grade student of St. George International School & Preschool. We are proud of the fact that among us is Ivan, who introduced himself and his school through his elaborate programming codes.
The children had the opportunity to meet leading IT industry executives, write code, create fun algorithmic games, play computer games, manage robots and thus touch the virtual reality.
Most impressive were the demonstrations of autonomous cars, working robots, organized with the help of the students at the John Atanasov PGD, who amazed the audience with ingenious high technology creations. And to finish this innovative event, we share with some impressions from St. George students:
"Tech4Kids was an exciting experience, during which we learned a lot about programming!
