Yoga for children is a practice to obtain calm and balanced mind, healthy, energetic and flexible bodies and it teaches responsibility and discipline. The classes include fun activities and breathing exercises, suitable for children with different levels of ability. Emphasis is placed on the technique and accuracy of poses, and the importance of deep and regular breathing. The students develop their self-esteem, strength, attention, focus and concentration. Yoga strengthens physical health, muscle activity, flexibility, coordination, self-awareness, emotional intelligence and helps them to be confident and able to explore their feelings.
